Topsy Chapman & The Pro's
My One and My Only Love

Topsy Chapman was one of New Orleans' gifts to the international jazz world. She was a local artist, singing in churches and clubs, when she was spotted by Vernel Bagneris and Lars Edegran, who were preparing' "One Mo' Time," a show-business musical set in 1920s New Orleans. The show was a local sensation, playing to sellout weekend houses, when it was "discovered" by New York producers Jerry Wexler and Ahmet Ertegun. The rest is history...
