Kermit Ruffins, for the last fifteen years or so, has been a prominent fixture in the New Orleans music scene. A scene that can be traced back to the early 1900s and earlier. Kermit has forged ahead, updating the music that has been handed down to him from generation to generation, bringing the unique sound of New Orleans to a whole new generation of listeners.
