Once in a while you come across opportunities in life to do something you don't think will make a lot of money but you do think will make a lot of people happy. This is what these recordings are all about.

I first bought a Roland Stone record at Memory Lane Records, an oldies record store on Airline Hwy. in New Orleans. It's run by a beatnik looking fellow by the name of Gordon DeSoto. I also bought my first Guitar Slim, Earl King and Smiley Lewis Lp's there. I have to admit the name Roland Stone caught my eye....
