The music for this CD comes from our Circle files. We went directly to the master acetates for the Luckey session that first appeared in 1947. It was recorded the year before by Rudi Blesh, the first in fact since his piano rolls of 1923. unusually, he was possible the most technically inventive of the Harem stride pianists, yet the least recorded....
