Carl Sonny Leyland Boogie and Blues 
I was a young lad of 14 when I first heard 'Boogie Woogie' from a Tommy Dorsey recording which by a strange coincidence, bore that very title. With its lilting phrases, chugging rhythm and in particular, the wonderful piano solos, Dorsey's 'Boogie Woogie' completely captured my imagination. I was, of course, soon to discover that the same tune that had so impressed me, was actually originated somewhat earlier, by a certain worthy fellow who went by the exotic pseudonym of 'Pinetop'!...
