Vocalist Billy Tircuit is best known for his stints with several New Orleans vocal groups including the Monitors, the Moonbeams, and the Senors. The Monitors were the best known group, as they recorded for the Aladdin, Specialty and Imperial labels during the 1950s. Tircuit was born June 7, 1936 and grew up in the Seventh Ward, the same neighborhood he still lives in today.
