This was the third session recorded by Rudi Blesh for his Circle label. It was done in June of 1946, and featured a controversial artist named Dan Burley. He was accompanied that day by George Foster on bass violin and two guitarists, Brownie and Sticks McGee. These four musicians recorded the bulk of the day's work load, but then just the two guitarists finished up the session....
