The contents of this CD is the end result of years of hard work. Growing up in New Orleans is a blessing in itself, but growing up in a musical family of New Orleans is one of the most exciting things that could happen to a young, aspiring musician. My Dad was John Brunious, a trumpet player, pianist and arranger who studied at Julliard Conservatory of Music. He always encouraged me to learn melodies, guaranteeing that melody is a musician's bets friend. He also encouraged tone development, always commenting that one good note is better than fifty questionable ones.
